Celebrating 30 Years of the International Scholars Program

The International Scholars Program was conceived in 1993 during the annual meeting of the European Society of Anaesthesiologists. At that time, the European meeting was not as comprehensive as it is today, and the PGA, although the second-largest assembly of anesthesiologists, was also not well-known abroad.
