Farewell Address to the NYSSA House of Delegates

In 2006, I attended my first NYSSA HOD meeting as the District 2 director. It was David Bronheim who encouraged me to be more involved with the NYSSA. At the time, I found the environment extremely intimidating. Everyone seemed to know their roles and the process seemed so complicated. Later, while attending my first board meeting, I met a gentleman from upstate who, without the NYSSA, I would never have an occasion to meet.
